The Martial Arts Training Template is designed for anyone competing in the martial arts or combat sports. This 18 week (4.5 month) program will help you improve your strength base as well as your anaerobic capacity and aerobic base. This program is not a hypertrophy program; the movements, reps and conditioning options were designed to increase strength, power, and conditioning. There is a baseline test before week 1 and after the 4th phase on week 16. Pay attention to Exercise order and rest changes, as well as supersets on certain groups of movements. There are 4 lifting days, and conditioning can be as often as 6 days a week, depending on your base of conditioning and your recovery.
